Good morning everyone! We have a new challenge for November and the theme is Bling it on! 

For this months challenge I used our new “Sweet break” stamp set. 

I used the lollipop and candy stamps to create this super cute card. I colored them in using my copics and then added wink of Stella to give it some bling. I also added a few dots of pearls around the lollipop and then topped it off with some sticky bling on the candies. Well I hope I have inspired you to create something blinging and can’t wait to see your creations uploaded to our challenge blog here. Enter for a chance to win $10 to our shop!

For my project I made a card with a mini shaker. I used sequins and beads to fill up the shaker. The quote and cut out images are from my coffee break set. I added some burlap and twill ribbon for embellishments.

“Technique Tuesday” VSC Challenge #38

Good morning lovelies! It’s September 1st and we have a new challenge. Can’t believe it’s September and my oldest starts 3rd grade in a few days. Sometimes I jut want to tell time to slow it down and take it easy. 

So this month we are focusing on techniques. The design team and I used several of our fave and some new techniques to create our September challenge project. 

For my cards I used several techniques. For the first one I decided to try out the no-line water coloring technique. I really loved the look and will definitely be trying this technique out more

For the second card I dried emboss the images in silver and then watercolored it. After watching the talented Kristina Werner masks a card the same way I wanted to give it a go. The silver embossing really gives the card elegance. Love how it came out.

“Anything goes” VSC challenge #37

Good morning!! So it’s been about a week since we came back from our family trip and I am slowly trying to get back into the groove of things. We have a new challenge over at our Challenge blogg. Our theme for the month is “Anything goes” so let’s see all those gorgeous projects. 

For this month’s challenge I made a tag. To make this tag I used my “Birthday wishes” stamp set and colored in the balloons using Tim holtz markers. I then popped it on a tag from Speigalmom. I distressed the edges with Tim holtz ink and added may arts ribbon on top of the tag. I also decorated one of the itty bitty bags available in the shop and stamped the word celebrate and happy birthday on the bag. On the back of the tag I adhered a gift card.
