Digi Darla time!

I’m really excited about the news going on at digi darla’s blogspot. She is looking for 4 new DT members! I will be adding my name to the pile. :::fingers crossed::: For this weeks challenge DDC 12 she has given us her first sketch to work with. I love sketches so I had a lot of fun with this challenge. Father’s day is not too far away so I decided to make a fathers day card. I just fell in love with this kitty and his airplane. I colored him in with Copic markers and used digi kits as my background paper. I embellished with bakers twine (which is on sale at my shop ) and brads. Below I have included the sketch with my card. Another week, another amazing sketch by Deconstructed Jen. Her sketches really get the creative juices going. She has a couple of shapes going on here and I really wanted to show off the new ribbon I have on sale and I also really wanted to use tiddlyinks new digi. I colored the ballerina with Copic markers and blended in chalk ink around it. I used a combo of SU paper and digi paper. The ribbon I used is May Arts red v striped twill.

Good Morning! Today I have a new card for Digi Darla’s inspirational photo theme.

The image I used is one of Darla’s digi stamp I bought from her store. It’s definitely one of my fav stamps! I used digi designer paper and the sentiment stamp is from papertreyink.

Time for another Deconstructed sketch (D51)by Jen. For this sketch I used a nautical digital kit from two peas and bucket and the digi stamp is from Tiffany doodles. I wanted to create a card for a boy or man and I think the nautical kit was perfect. I added some bakers twine on the side and the sentiment was typed using microsoft word.
